What you see below is an actual vaccination record and plan for a puppy from a "puppy mill". Can you believe that:

This puppy received a vaccine at 5 weeks of age, long before he was immunocompentent (able to make antibodies)

He had Ivomec and Marquis (both products not approved for use in dogs) the same day.

He had his fifth vaccination at the age of 8 weeks.

He had his seventh vaccination a day or two before I examined him, at just over 10 weeks.

A total of thirteen vaccinations were recommended for this puppy, ending when he would be about 20 weeks old.

Had his care been in my hands, he would have received 2-3 vaccines, spread out over about 4 months, with no more than one vaccine or medication administered at one time. Notice that 5 puppies were born, but only 3 survived. I wonder why????
